Life might be settling into normalcy
Well, first of all, what is normal? Hmmm…if I figure THAT out I’ll let you know.
Since the person who was supposed to buy our house changed his mind TWO DAYS before closing we are in a state of flux. 3/4 of our stuff (including most of my studio) is packed in boxes. Half of Ted and Michaela’s stuff is in storage along with a portion of our stuff (in a different location). People are still trickling in to look at the house but no serious buyers yet.
So, in an effort to maintain my sanity, I’m organizing. (ah..my coping mechanism for any crisis). I’ve been reading “the WAR of ART” by Steven Pressfield, and so far I’m pretty jazzed by his ideas. Last night I put together a schedule that has me working on art (no business, no email, no sewing) from 9 am to 1 pm. Doesn’t sound like much…but I’m going to see how concentrating my efforts for four hours every day works out. Except for tomorrow when I have two dr. appointments.
My plan is to add to the blog before starting to work each day. Perhaps I’ll even have some pictures of my progress to post. If I haven’t packed the camera……
