I have been looking through my sketchbook/journal, reading the list of things I want to accomplish this year. The trip to the Bahamas took care of traveling to new places. Snorkeling with Dive Bahamas! was a major thrill. I loved feeding all the tropical fish and my favorite part was our last stop when our captain lowered chum into the water to attract sharks. We had to stay very still, and they were a bit lower than we were, but close enough to really feel their presence. It was scary how quickly the first two arrived and by the time I was climbing back onto the boat a few minutes later there were five shark circling the bait box below me.
